Our primary focus is reducing the cost of living for the average family of four in the United States. However our initiatives have added benefits as well. The biggest additional benefit is jobs. Lots and lots of jobs, ten million new jobs, actually, most using next generation technologies in globally important industries. The breakdown follows.
Construction of one million new housing units annually would directly generate nearly 3,000,000 jobs while supporting industries such as manufacturing, materials, logistics, and finance would generate another 1,500,000 jobs.
It would take ten years to complete the project, creating up to 800,000 jobs annually for the life of the project. Maintenance and Operations would provide an additional 1,000,000 permanent jobs. Suppliers of the system would add an additional 2,000,000 permanent jobs.
In addition to dramatically lowering the cost of healthcare for Americans, a move to a single payer system would generate 1,000,000 new jobs.
The construction of the USA University system would generate 200,000 jobs. Long term roles for faculty and staff would create another 300,000 permanent jobs.
